If you want to make something like the Jalie 2572, Bravo Bottoms #2 Boyshort or the Patterns for Pirates Cutie Booty, choose Microlycra or Microlycra Air. If you plan to make a pair from the Bravo Bottoms #3 pattern, choose Tricot. Tricot is a smooth, liquid and silky, as well as relatively opaque, but it only has 20% mechanical stretch across the grain so be aware of this when you chose your pattern. Microlycra and Microlycra Air have 100% stretch and are lovely nylon lycra fabrics.
