Maison NOEL commisions their own thread. It is 1000 meters long, 45% metallic polyester, 55% polyamide and finished with gold.  It should be used with fine needles, such as a number 8. It is best to use as a single strand, as doubling can cause twisting. Also, it is better to not work with a thread that is very long. More than a color, it will add color and light to your embroidery. It can be washed in warm water and ironed from the back.
