I’ve named this headband after the Gales of November. Each year as winter approaches, extreme winds kick up waves on Lake Superior, sending water churning hundreds of feet up the sides of the cliffs along the shore. It’s a beautiful, tumultuous sight to see the waves rolling in over and over.

This headband coordinates with my Gales of November Hat and Cowl patterns. I’ve written the pattern to be made in one size with Super Bulky Yarn. Show in Malabrigo Rasta and Hedgehog Fibres Super Bulky.

The headband is knit in the round from the bottom up.

Uses US 11 - 8.0mm and US 15 - 10.0mm needles.
